SURVIVOR—Rachel Shur, the founder of United Cancer Advocacy Action Network, addresses the audience during last month’s Charity Date Auction in Agoura Hills.

Hoping to raise money for a nonprofit that serves the day-today needs of cancer patients, 13 bachelors and 10 bachelorettes put themselves on the auction block Sept. 27 to benefit United Cancer Advocacy Action Network.
