"There's a schizoid streak within the family anyway so I dare say that I'm affected by that. The majority of the people in my family have been in some kind of mental institution, as for my brother he doesn't want to leave. He likes it very much." - David Bowie

Series 03: In Protest - In these surreal political times, as an artist it's almost impossible to not dip ones toes into the conversation. Selections from this series include "History Repeats Itself" & "The Angry Orange Goiter Monster".

Series 04: Pop-culture Remix - This series is all about inspiration and influence. Sometimes, an artist just wants to have fun and pay homage to the creative works of pop-culture which have influences his or her creative flow. The selections of work featured from this series include artworks inspired by: Star Trek, The Big Lebowski, Halloween & Beetlejuice.

THE DUDE ABIDES is an original "Big Lebowski Movie" inspired open edition.

Other works which have been selected for this exhibition are: "The Weirdo" (a self portrait), "Lords of the Ocean" (A tribute to the undersea life of San Pedro), and "Krampus Night" (An ancient central European folklore-inspired artwork).

This exhibition will be on display in the Altadena Library from Wednesday, January 9th until Thursday, February 28th.

There will be a reception and presentation by the artist on February 12th from 7pm - 9pm. The artist will discuss the inspiration and process behind the selected works and field any questions about the artwork anyone may have.  We will also have some light refreshments.
