LAS VEGAS, NV, USA - JUNE 3, 2019: Three Square Food Bank presents Las Vegas Restaurant Week "Dine Out for a Cause" is from June 17-28, 2019. About 200 participating restaurants in the 12-day culinary event. For a complete list of menus, go to helpoutdineoutlv.org.
For the Adventurous Foodie, you'll find meals of up to five courses at about 200 restaurants that serves breakfast to dinner, from $20 to $80. A great bargain for diners who’d like to experience restaurants they’ve never tried before.
Las Vegas Restaurant Week in its 13th year, gives restaurants in their community the opportunity to give back through this event.
Make reservations at award-winning restaurants and local eateries and your meal could provide up to 18 meals to hungry people in the community. A portion of proceeds from Restaurant Week remain local and help Three Square in its fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada.
Since 2007, more than 5 million meals have been provided for those in need through Restaurant Week. By participating, you are helping to their goal of feeding more than 271,000 food insecure people in Southern Nevada.
ABOUT THREE SQUARES
Three Square is Southern Nevada’s only food bank providing food assistance to the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties.
Three Square’s mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. We combine food banking (warehousing canned and boxed goods), food rescue (obtaining surplus or unused meats, bread, dairy and produce from hospitality and grocery outlets), and ready-to-eat meals to be the most complete food solution for Southern Nevada.
We work with a service network of nearly 1,400 community partners, which includes non-profit and faith-based organizations, schools, after school and feeding sites – in our community to reach struggling individuals and families at risk of hunger. In 2018, we distributed more than 39 million meals, the equivalent of more than 47 million pounds of food and grocery product, through our community partners.
