San Diego International Kids Film Festival 2018 | San Diego, CA.

In children's imagination, summer is about Sunlight, sand, beach, and ocean waves. San Diego Intentional Kids' Film Festival (SDIKFF) adds the Cactus, old Admiral Risty and films in those pictures to make a perfect summer ending event.

This year, this fun and positive yearly event will be August 24-26, 2018 in Carlsbad and Oceanside two north cities of San Diego County.

SDIKFF will screen 143 films made in nearly 30 counties, all in English language (dialog or subtitled).  Film makers from 16 countries will appear at their film screening to meet the audiences. As one of the prime children film festivals in the world, the SDIKFF attracts the film makers from kids (14 years or younger), youth (14-17 years old) and adult (18+) talents to submit, to show, and to contest their works during the 3 days event. Most films will screen in those two venues with multiple screens running simultaneously, start at 10:00am in the morning at  Schulman Auditorium (1775 Dove Lane, Carlsbad, CA 92011) and at Carlsbad Senior Center (799 Pine Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008).   This is a rare opportunity for family to enjoy many international movies in a single event.

SDIKFF started its own Film Market from 2016. It is open to everyone in the film industry. The Film Market builds a bridge to fulfill all film business needs – include but not limited to film sales, investments, all aspects of film production, locations, post-production etc. in one location.

This one day market is from 11AM-7PM (Saturday, August 25) at Carlsbad Senior Center (799 Pine Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008). The three panels (Pitch & Catch; Screenplay for worldwide audience; Work with China) started since 2013 and the panels are well loved by the film makers. The panels will be held in the same location as the film market.

All events are open to the public which gives them an opportunity to know the stars.
